Mexican Foodie Classes Schedule

Authentic Mexican Foodie Classes Tues 8th Nov and Thurs 10th Nov at Rich and Fancy Coffee Shop Queen Street Horbury doors open 6.00pm we kick off around 6.30pm

and finish around 8.30pm

Why should I come?

Well you will get to spend a couple of hours learning, getting stuck in to some yummy authentic Mexican food, sharing, socialising, relaxing and having fun..... basically a good nosh up and a natter!

Who is going to be there?

Anyone who wants to do something different for a couple of hours during the week. A unique alternative way to get fed after work and learn something new!

What will the evening bring?

You will arrive and there will be some yummy Antojitos (Mexican appetizers) with salsas to nosh on and a traditional Mexican non alcohohic drink. We will get to know each other a little and then we will start a guisado (Mexican taco filling) with your help. We will get that going to eat later. We will then all make handmade corn tortillas (trust me you will never look at a shop bought tortilla again) and we will make a couple of traditional mexican salsas. Later you can eat your food on the night or you can take it home to eat with your good self or share with your family.

So what’s on THE MENU?

Appetizers - Sopes – Mexican corn tarts filled with beans/cheese/chicken and yummy salsa

Mini Quesadillas - filled with surprise filling

Mains - Posh Tacos with two fillings one we will make on the night (Chicken Pibil) and the other a real treat (im not telling it’s a surprise!) served with three salsas

Sweet Treat (TO BE DECIDED)

(If you are a vegetarian don’t worry I have plenty of gorgeous recipes just let me know and I will include on the menu )

*Please note group bookings of 10 or more people non vegetarian and vegetarian menus, your chosen evening will be blocked out for your group exclusively.

Can I bring alcohol?

Absolutely it’s a bit like a supper club with a foodie class combined!!

Do I need to bring anything?

Just your good self and a food container. (Aprons and utensils provided)

Can I get hold of any ingredients on the night. ?

I will have some shop items to sell on the night eg (Mexican spice kits and homemade salsas )

How much is this Mexican experience ?

For these first two class £10 per person with the commitment to give testimonials on the night and take photos for social media). Normal price is £20. 50% via paypal if you don’t have paypal, then email me and we can arrange a bank transfer. Balance due on the night. *Deposit non refundable.
