Mexican Foodie Schedule 9th Dec

Fri 9th Dec at Caffe Capri, 8 Cluntergate, Horbury, Wakefield WF4 5AG

doors open 6.30pm. We kick off at 7.00pm and finish around 9.00pm

Why should I come?

Well you will get to spend a couple of hours learning, getting stuck in to some yummy authentic Mexican food, sharing, socialising, relaxing and having fun..... basically a good nosh up and a natter! After you can go and visit one of Horburys many watering holes for a couple of Friday night drinks if you wish.

Who is going to be there?

Anyone who wants to do something different for a couple of hours . A unique alternative way to get fed and learn something new!

What will the evening bring?

You will arrive and there will be some yummy Antojitos (Mexican appetizers) with salsas and chips to nosh on and a traditional Mexican non alcoholic drink. We will get to know each other a little and We will then all make handmade corn tortillas (trust me you will never look at a shop bought tortilla again) and we will make a couple of traditional mexican salsas. Later you can eat your food on the night or you can take it home to eat with your good self or share with your family.

So what’s on THE MENU? (all spicy salsas on the side)

Appetizers - Sopes – Mexican corn tarts filled with beans/chicken and yummy salsa

And mini Quesadillas ( with queso fresco and black beans)

Mains - To go with your homemade tacos I will bring two guisados (tacos fillings) one vegetarian and one chicken (pollo pibil).

To finish Cheeky coconut nibbles

(If you are a vegetarian just let me know and I will make your sopes meat free.

*Please note group bookings of 10 or more people non vegetarian and vegetarian menus, I can organise an exclusive night for you.

Can I bring alcohol?

Absolutely it’s a bit like a supper club with a foodie class combined!!

Do I need to bring anything?

Just your good self a small food container and an apron.

Can I get hold of any ingredients on the night.

I will have some shop items to sell on the night.

How much is this Mexican experience

£15 (normal price £20) 50% via paypal if you don’t have paypal, then email me and we can arrange a bank transfer. Balance due on the night. *Deposit non refundable. To book and queries about pop up private cook, catering and supper clubs.
